We’re looking for someone with:

2+ years of experience in Linux administration.
Expertise in identifying performance bottlenecks and taking corrective actions.
Experience with patch administration, server installation/configuration, and kernel updates.
The ability to configure storage LUNs/NFS and perform server hardening.
Experience with server monitoring, log analysis, and performance tuning.
Skills in migrating operating systems and managing user privileges.
Knowledge of server configuration for services like NFS, Samba, DNS, and SSH.
Experience with server virtualization and OS upgrades.

Bonus points if you have:

Experience with Linux cluster setup and configuration.
Knowledge of system security best practices and audit compliance.
Basic shell scripting skills.

Preferred Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline or related field
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
Demonstrated knowledge, or training in one or more of the following areas:
- Databases
- Networking and protocols TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, and SMTP
- Telecom systems (CTI, VOIP, PBX)
- Operating systems, desktop domains (active directory), windows security
- Understanding of HTML, JavaScript, XML
