Responsibilities of the Job:
As a Branch Manager or Deputy Branch Manager, your main duty is to make sure a bank branch operates smoothly. This includes handling loans, selling products, taking care of customers, and maintaining security. Your role is vital in helping the bank grow and succeed.
Your tasks will include:
- Growing the Business: You will help the company get bigger by finding new opportunities for business.
- Taking Care of Customers: Your job is to make sure customers are happy and to encourage a friendly atmosphere in the branch.
- Helping the Team: You’ll motivate and guide your team members to reach their best potential and make more sales.
- Meeting Sales Goals: You need to sell new products, get referrals from customers, and keep existing customers happy.
- Managing Existing Customers: Taking care of customers who are already using the bank’s services.
- Getting New Customers: Attracting people who haven’t used the bank before.
- Making Sure New Customers Start Well: Helping new customers to get started with the bank.
- Selling Different Products: Suggesting and selling various bank products to both new and old customers.
- Focusing on Local Customers: Finding and connecting with people in the area to get more business.
- Using Digital Tools: Helping customers to use digital tools for banking.
- Checking Sales Numbers: Keeping an eye on how much the branch sells each week and month.
- Planning Team Activities: Organizing meetings every morning to talk about the day’s plans.
- Tracking Reports: Keeping an eye on reports about the bank’s activities, like when accounts are closed or opened.
- Helping New Employees: Guiding and teaching new workers in the branch.
- Teaching the Team: Organizing training sessions for your team to improve their skills.
