- Candidates must have completed Diploma in Mining Engineering with Mine Foreman Certificate of Competency restricted to Open cast working only issued by DGMS.
- Applicants shall pass SSC / Matric with ITI/ Diploma in Engineering valid Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving License.

Applicants do not exceed 35 years as on 01-10-2022. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC (NCL) candidates.
